A Unique Approach to Cel Shaded Appearance in KeyShot

by | Dec 10, 2016 | 0 comments

Matt Bridges shared his unique approach to a toon-style, cel shaded appearance in KeyShot using one material and a set of custom made HDRI environments.

To achieve this look, Matt applied the chrome material to the entire model. Then he used three different HDRIs–one for the skin, one for the jacket and another for the bike . Since the material is set to chrome, it reflects whatever the environment is set to! Cool process huh!?

A big thanks to Matt for sharing this unique process. You can download the HDRIs to try yourself.
