Hotkeys were the most-mentioned favorite KeyShot hack, and for good reason. Instead of breaking your creative focus in order to click through several dropdown menus, what if you could just hit a key or two and view exactly what you need? Turns out, you can. There are over 50 hotkey shortcuts in KeyShot, for both PC and Mac.
While Physical Light in KeyShot allows you to fine-tune your lighting, KeyShot HDRI Editor allows you to quickly locate and customize light pins for a super-fast, efficient workflow in a process that’s less taxing on your computer. “Why waste time reinventing the wheel when someone else has already done it?” said designer Anthony Mayne. Good point. Just mosey on over to the cloud icon, found in the bottom left of the toolbar, and explore thousands of models, materials and more.
Unwrap UV, a 2D representation of a 3D surface, allows textures or labels to be accurately wrapped on the object’s surface.
