If you had fun with the KeyShot Julia fractal we made available to download on 3.14, you’ll want to check out a couple versions two KeyShot users have created. The fractal includes adjustable setting for all the dimensions giving way to unlimited variations. You’ll see how they can be taken ever further with a little material and lighting love, plus you can download one that comes wrapped in the KeyShot material ball… set up as a light cage!

Fractals among us

John Seymour has a thing for Julia fractals. He’s been creating a slew of amazing fractal renderings over the past week. Here are just a couple.

Dries Vervoort also likes a good fractal and a few material balls in his life, illuminating them in unique ways. He has created quite a few versions of the KeyShot Material Ball, including this one below, set up as a light cage illuminating the 3D fractal. It’s a KeyShotXR with 180 frames, so go ahead and swipe or drag over to take it for a spin!

Remember, you can also download the original KeyShot fractal here, adjust to your liking inside KeyShot and create amazing visuals like the ones above.
