Next week we’ll have the KeyShot team out in gloriously warm and touristy Orlando, Florida for the PlanetPTC Live event. The event will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek, June 3-6th where we will, once again, be boothin’ it hardcore, demonstrating KeyShot 3.2, the new features and updates, new technology to come and the all new Live Linking. Live Linking is a new level of interconnectivity between KeyShot and 3D software and an easier way for Creo users to update models inside KeyShot.

Presenters: John Jacobsen, Director of Engineering, Quirky and Thomas Teger, VP, Products and Strategy, Luxion
Topic: We will be presenting with Social Product Development site Quirky, highlighting how Quirky is dependent on perfect visuals to communicate and sell products that don’t exist yet and how KeyShot is helping them to do so.
KeyShot Live Linking
Live updates and live additions of Creo models to KeyShot. You never have to redo anything again. So, here’s how it works. Luxion has developed an ability to connect Creo (and other 3D software) with KeyShot in a live session. With this enhancement, Creo users can make a change to the design and send it directly to a running session of KeyShot. The scene inside KeyShot will update automatically and either replace the existing design or add the new design iteration to the existing scene. This is included as part of the Creo Plugin for KeyShot and can be accessed from the Creo toolbar area with a single click that transfers the updated Creo model to the KeyShot session.
We’ll be previewing Live Linking at Planet PTC Live, June 2-4. Stop by booth #628 to say hi and see how it works.
