KeyShot Connect

KeyShot Connect links KeyShot Studio to your tools, teammates, and workflows, in real time.

KeyShot Connect

From KeyShot to
anywhere your assets live.

KeyShot renderings don't stay in KeyShot. They end up in product catalogs, sales decks, web page mockups, campaign layouts, and everywhere in between. Getting them there means manual exports, re-uploads, and versions that drift out of sync the moment someone makes a change.

KeyShot Connect fixes that: design and engineering teams save and update scenes directly from KeyShot Studio, connected in real time to every downstream tool and teammate that needs them.

Seamless connections
to the tools you use

KeyShot Connect ships with out-of-the-box plugins for Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, Canva, and Figma that keep assets flowing straight into the decks, product pages, and campaigns where your products are presented, no manual exports required.

The plugins run inside InDesign, Office, Canva, and Figma, so a placed asset updates in place when the source scene changes, without a re-export, re-import, or find-and-replace.

  • Adobe InDesign for layouts, catalogs, and spec sheets
  • Microsoft Office for decks and documents
  • Canva for social and campaign creative
  • Figma for product pages and prototypes

Accurate and consistent
version control

KeyShot Connect gives every asset unlimited version history and one-click revert, so everyone is always working from the current, correct asset, not a copy that drifted out of sync.

Because connected assets reference a single source scene, an update propagates to every downstream placement automatically, and any prior state stays recoverable with no change ever lost.

Access, security, and permissions out of the box

KeyShot Connect includes role-based access control, single sign-on, external guest access for clients and agencies, and a full audit log, so you can open collaboration to the right people while keeping tight control over who can view, comment, edit, and publish.

Single sign-on ties access to your identity provider, granular roles set exactly what each person can do, and every action is logged. Clients and agencies open scenes in the browser with no install and no KeyShot license, so you can grant view and comment access without provisioning seats or exposing edit rights.

Questions, answered

What is KeyShot Connect?

KeyShot Connect is a KeyShot Studio add-on that connects your scenes directly to the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Figma, and beyond, with version control and collaboration built in.

What is it for?

Getting renderings where they are actually used, in product catalogs, sales decks, web mockups, and campaign layouts, without manual exports, re-uploads, or versions that drift out of sync when a scene changes.

Which tools does it connect to out of the box?

KeyShot Connect ships with plugins for Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, Canva, and Figma. A placed asset updates in place when the source scene changes, with no re-export, re-import, or find-and-replace.

Do downstream teammates need a KeyShot license?

No. Clients, agencies, and downstream teammates open scenes in the browser with no install and no KeyShot license, with view and comment access controlled by role-based permissions.

How does version control work?

Every asset gets unlimited version history and one-click revert. Connected assets reference a single source scene, so an update propagates to every downstream placement automatically and any prior state stays recoverable.
