The KeyShot crew fills you in with the latest KeyShot tips and tricks, insight into 3D rendering technology and the people creating the coolest visuals across the engineering, product design and entertainment industries.

This week we’re out at SEMA Show 2015 with Axalta Coating Systems for the release of their Artist Signature Series, Cromax “Danny D” Mild-to-Wild Combinations. Pinstriper and automotive painter Danny “Danny D” Gálvez will be spinning up KeyShot, digitally painting a range of cars using the paint combos, exploring different paint scenarios under different lighting conditions, all inside KeyShot on a 50″interactive, touch-enabled display.

While Danny D will be demonstrating later this week, you can stop by now for the opportunity to immerse yourself in the 3D scene, interacting with the configurations, cameras and environment controls. Trucks, lowriders and hot rods are among 15 different cars you can apply 30 Axalta three-color combinations to, experiencing it along the way, all in real-time.

With a BOXX 48 core RenderPRO powering the real-time view and Luxion’s rendering technology utilizes 100% of all CPU power, you’ll see all changes happen instantly. You can interact directly with the car, change the color and camera position, and select from three environment choices that allow you to experience each color combination under unique lighting situations.

You can see this at SEMA Show 2015 in the Axalta Coating Systems booth #22391 (located Central Hall, near the South end of the Ford booth) at the Las Vegas Convention Center, November 3-6th, 2015 to experience the color possibilities.
