Power users, this one's for you: You'll love the newest version of KeyShot Studio. In addition to the new Apple GPU support and KeyShot Cloud rendering, the latest update also squashes the biggest bugs that get in the way of your workflow.
Turbo charge performance with Apple GPU support (in beta)
In addition to our existing NVIDIA and AMD GPU Support on Windows PCs, KeyShot Studio 2026.2 includes support for hardware accelerated ray tracing and direct rendering on Apple GPUs. On the most recent M5 chips this can give a massive speedup of 30-50x on some scenes, compared to rendering on Apple CPUs. It is supported on all M1 and newer Apple chips, but only the M3 and newer support hardware accelerated ray tracing and these chips are recommended to achieve the best performance.
Render in the cloud: Introducing KeyShot Cloud Rendering
The power of KeyShot is now available in the cloud. Render your product visuals faster, at the output quality you need, without disrupting your workflow.
KeyShot Cloud Rendering supports both GPU accelerated and CPU based rendering, enabling you to tap into high-performance hardware without local constraints. Plus, you can easily track and download your cloud rendered assets across multiple machines.
*Users must be on KeyShot Studio version 2026.2 in order to access Cloud Rendering.
Tidy up your material graph with node grouping
One of our most-requested updates has arrived! Clean up and organize complex material graphs with the new node grouping. In the 2026.2 material graph, you can now group individual nodes together, and you can give those groups custom names, colors, inputs and outputs.
Pesky bugs: SQUASHED
We fixed the top 100 bugs, drawing from the crash reports we automatically receive from our customers, support cases and the KeyShot Luminaries community. Some of the biggest fixes include:
- Colorways now save reliably when colors are only referenced in submaterials: Colorway workflows stay intact across more complex material setups.
- Library search now treats separate words correctly: Enjoy faster, more accurate asset discovery in large libraries.
- Background renderings auto-populate in the Gallery. This fixes a missing link in our newly added Gallery feature.
- Cleaner GPU output in interior-lighting scenes. Experience less noise in a common product-visualization scenario.
- The Pattern tool has been massively optimized and can now quickly create large combinations of models.

Edit animations more easily
Creating and editing animations is even easier in the latest version of KeyShot. It is now possible to add a new keyframe animation to any selected part or camera by just adding the first keyframe in the animation timeline window. This means that you don’t have to first create a keyframe animation and then place the first keyframe; you can simply skip the first step and get going with your new animation right away.
Additionally, you can now horizontally scroll the animation timeline with the mouse wheel on mice that features a sideways scroll wheel function. On other mice, users can hold the Shift key and scroll their mouse wheel up or down to scroll the timeline horizontally.
Plus these upgrades
Scripting improvements*: KeyShot Studio 2026.2 ships with scripting improvements. We have optimized the performance of script execution, meaning that it is now faster to run larger scripts, and there is additional animation-related scripting functionality available in 2026.2.
The additional functionality allows users to create, edit and delete both object and camera keyframe animations. *Results may vary.
Maya 2027 support: It is now possible to import Maya 2027 files directly into KeyShot Studio.
Better GLTF/GLB compression*:KeyShot Studio 2026.2 introduces improvements to GLTF/GLB compression which makes exported models in this format around two to three times smaller than previously. *Results may vary
GPU Cutaway fix: With KeyShot Studio 2026.2, the Cutaway material now works as well in GPU mode as it always has in CPU mode.
