It’s a big week for Luxion and for all KeyShot users, with the introduction of new tech and features coming to KeyShot. We’re kicking off this week out at Siggraph 2012 with the announcement of a joint partnership between Luxion and DuPont Performance Coatings. No longer are you left to looking at the traditional paint swatch, guessing, trying to match the exact color–Now all the fabulous DuPont colors are available in KeyShot as a new material set.

DuPont Paint Materials for KeyShot

DuPont will link its proprietary digital color rendering technologies with Luxion’s digital object rendering software making it possible for Luxion and DuPont customers in the transportation, aerospace (or other applicable) industry to use KeyShot for accurate color and paint visualization on their products, all in in real time without having to rely at all on the physical samples.

We’re demonstrating the new materials at Siggraph this week in booth #1101. With the next version of KeyShot (coming soon) you’ll have a sample library, with additional paint sets available via the KeyShto and DuPont websites. We’re excited to bring this to our customers and would love to hear what you think as well! You can read the rest of the news release here. High resolution image created by Tim Feher below.
