As of October 2020, Etex Group’s Phase I implementation of their Digizuite DAM is complete. Their procurement of Digizuite earlier this year was part of a broad marketing digital optimization effort to revolutionize their content strategy and improve collaboration.
This is a particularly noteworthy case of digital transformation because as a global construction and manufacturing corporation, Etex is part of an industry that trends toward being slow to go digital.
Etex began the overhaul of its marketing technology stack in 2018, with Global Digital Transformation Leader Alan Edmondson at the helm. Edmondson set out to secure a collection of technologies that would allow Etex marketing teams to provide customers and prospects with personalized information and customer experiences. In Edmondson’s own words, he wanted Etex to “communicate the right messaging, to the right people, at the right time.”
To meet these goals, Etex has implemented the Digizuite DAM, Episerver’s Content Cloud, and inRiver’s PIM solution – all of which integrate and connect so smoothly that Etex marketers have found that leveraging all three feels like using one holistic platform. And now armed with these technologies, Edmondson said that Etex has already made significant headway toward achieving their content goals.
Etex’s Phase I implementation of Digizuite involved establishing the DAM as a media library, which has benefitted hundreds of project managers who are scattered around the world.
“People overseeing construction projects needed to be able to upload images from photo shoots, or other material to a DAM so that anyone who needed it, even at a moment’s notice, could leverage it properly for any purpose or distribution channel,” Digizuite Sales Director Mircea Verbeeren said.
In the future, Etex’s usage of Digizuite will expand. It is likely that the corporation will use their DAM as a “single source of truth” for their global workforce of more than 15,000 employees.
