A fabulous issue of Develop3D awaits you. Why is it so fabulous? Because it’s chock full of product design goodness the likes YOU’VE NEVER SEEN… Oh, and it’s also got a fair bit of KeyShot spattered about. For example, you see the image above? That is from page 38, a profile feature on design firm Pensa who uses KeyShot to create renderings of various product designs.
Marco Perrry, principal and co-founder of Pensa comments on how KeyShot helped them by decreasing the time time it takes to create each rendering.
“The processing time used to be a limiting factor because, if it took four hours per piece, then forget it. To show 16 to 20 concepts or multiple views would take forever.” says Perry. “With an application like KeyShot, you literally just drop it in, take a snapshot, change the view and then grab another one. It makes rendering a non-event.”
Develop3D also announced the winners of their Social Media contest (pg 11) in which the 1st prize winner, Simon Cole, walked away with a license of KeyShot Pro and 2nd prize winner Matthew Ling took home a license of KeyShot. Congrats gents! You’ll also catch more render related goodness throughout this month’s issues and a review on Siemens NX 8, the models of which can be brought directly into KeyShot.
