Raygun Studio is a digital imaging and CGI studio in Palo Alto, California. Michael Tompert is Designer-in-Chief of who describes himself as one who aligns planets working with different people involved in the project from photographers, art buyers, art directors and agencies. Most of the work at Raygun comes from ad agencies with the rest comes from design companies. 50% of the work is direct where an agency needs something animated and more high end. I’m the point of contact and I’ll bring in a photographer. The other half is where photographers are hired by an agency and then come to me to help them with the CGI component.
