Every once in while, a product so simple comes along that solves so many problems. There are a lot of iPads and a lot of iPad cases–the options seem endless really. So, standing out in this area is a task in itself. Yet, as simple as Loop by Mozzic is, it solves the most common problem for iPad owners–how to hang your iPad. You could take this further by saying it solves the problem of just being able to use an iPad in more places, more comfortably. Creator C.T. Truong, used SolidWorks during the design, creating all the visuals using KeyShot, after coming up with the idea on a flight.
“I came up with that hanging system while on a vacation trip to California with my family. My son and wife struggled with their iPads while watching movies with all the drinks and foods on the tray. I started sketching the idea right away when I got home, made a prototype out of cardboard, put string on it and started hanging on all the objects in my house. My goal is to introduce a really premium case with authentic materials and even more features for use in the kitchen, living room, car or even on a flight.”
KeyShot allowed Mozzic to create the images quickly, helping visualize the use and function of the end product and to show manufacturing how the case is constructed.
