Is your design team still unfamiliar with KeyShot Hub? You’ll want to fix that ASAP.

Launched just last year, KeyShot Hub was built to provide workflow support specifically for design teams. While most design tools on the market focus on artistic performance, design teams also manage a bunch of administrative and logistical tasks. KeyShot Hub gives your team the everyday workflow support it needs, with secure file-sharing, automatic version tracking and feedback tools that provide clarity, consistency and connection. This means that instead of spending energy on time-consuming tasks like file management, you can focus fully on your creative output.

New Hub capabilities launched today empower you to:

Share 3D previews of KeyShot scenes with stakeholders

Is feedback better in 2D or 3D? We’re leaning toward the latter, but we’ll let you (and your stakeholders) be the judge. Now, both creators and reviewers can select a KeyShot Studio scene to view the lightweight 3D preview (pan/zoom/orbit) to better understand the design. This same scene can be shared through a collection or web link enabling external stakeholders the ability to interact with the 3D previews.

Track comments by version

Has the feedback loop ever made you dizzy? If you’re fielding dozens of suggestions from multiple stakeholders, it can be especially hard to keep track of comments as concept versions evolve. Hub has the solution: Now, any new comments will automatically be linked to the relevant file version, so you know exactly which file inspired the feedback “It should be less bumpy.” (Hub still can’t help you parse what that means, but at least it’ll be attached to the correct file.)

Find what you’re looking for faster with labeled and organized metadata

Labels are now applied to the thumbnail of assets to highlight what type they are (material, environment, scene) without needing to click into the asset. Secondly, metadata is organized (especially for rendered images) in a cleaner way grouping key tags together. This makes it easier for a user to better understand what the related assets are at a glance.
