We would like to congratulate this year’s Industrial Design graduates at California State University Long Beach. CSULB is just down the 405 from Luxion headquarters. We’re excited to sponsor the Professional Night event for the graduates, but even more excited to share that our very own Rex Roberts is one of the distinguished graduates. You’ll know Rex from the webinars and the debonair voice on the KeyShot tutorials. He is also President of the IDSA-LA Student Chapter and former Design Student Association President. Tonight they’ll be celebrating in the company of industry professional from around the area.

For the past three years, the 2013 Industrial Design class has worked together on a group project titled “Plane View”, a site that explores the possibilities of commercializing aerial drones for surveying terrain. KeyShot was used extensively for the project, as well as in each of the student’s individual project and thesis. Tonight is their night, and if you are an working professional, you’re invited to attend.

The Professional Night and Senior Show happens tonight, May 21st, 6-10pm at the CSULB Design Building. Graduation Celebration follows later this Friday, May 24th at 12 Noon. You can find out more via the event website or through the event’s Facebook page.
