We’re excited to announce our speaker lineup for our first KeyShot World LA event on April 11 at The Grammy Museum. During the first stop on our tour, you’ll enjoy a half day of events and learning opportunities. Then, stick around for a meetup and after-party!
We’re thrilled to have some of the industry’s most innovative players speaking: Keynote Daniel Simon, Derek Moreno from Razor and Alex Moy from Speedo.
Daniel Simon: As Founder & President of Daniel Simon® LLC & CosmicMotors® LLC, Simon has been in the design business for decades, getting his start as an exterior design intern for Lamborghini and quickly working his way up the ladder as everything from a senior concept designer for Bugatti to a vehicle studies specialist for Ridley Scott’s famous Alien reboot Prometheus. You may also be familiar with his work if you’ve seen Top Gun: Maverick, Tron: Legacy or Captain America. His approach brings an obsession with detail and a fusion of automotive styling, innovative engineering, and world-building aspiration to everything he does. Simon strives to develop and create holistic vehicles to populate air, land, and water, for everything from large corporations to gaming companies.
Derick Moreno: For Derick Moreno, design is like telling a story, and he’s put this philosophy to the test countless times for industry heavyweights like Razor, where he currently works as a product designer. Moreno believes that great design comes from utilizing character understanding and development to truly understand the consumer’s needs.
Alex Moy: Currently working as a hard goods designer engineer for SpeedoUSA, Moy has worked extensively both on staff and as a freelancer for some of today’s leading companies. In addition to SpeedoUSA, he has also worked as a full-time fabrication designer for Primary Color, where he was responsible for creating marketing assets for some of today’s biggest leaders in the food and beverage, cosmetics, and retail industries. At SpeedoUSA, during his time working as a 3D visualization specialist, Moy trained the entire design team in KeyShot to use for product approval and factory specifications.
