This eye-catching chess set was designed, rendered and animated by Alexander Twaddle. Part of a semester project in Digital Modeling I at Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD), professor Phil Renato gave them the task of completing a chess set design. At the end of the project, students were able to 3d print their set designs and put them to use. Alexander’s design has a unique, modern look with pieces that sit inside each square. The animation he created using KeyShot illustrates it perfectly.
