How do I use the new KeyShot Studio AI features?
Open up KeyShot Studio and make sure your software is updated to the latest version (2025.2). Once your software update is complete, you should see a button titled “AI Shots” in the bottom right corner of the Studio interface. Click on “AI Shots” to download the AI model, and once complete you will be able to use the new AI features.
Are there additional costs to use KeyShot Studio AI?

Yes — just be sure to review the results first. The model can’t guarantee outputs are free of copyright or trademarked elements, so it’s up to you to ensure the content is appropriate for public release.
What hardware does KeyShot recommend for using AI Shots?
Minimum System Requirements:
- Windows: NVIDIA or AMD GPU with at least 16 GB memory
- Mac: M1 or newer CPU with at least 16 GB memory
- CPU-only rendering is supported but significantly slower and not recommended.
Performance Recommendations:
- Start with low-resolution images (e.g., 512 × 512) to minimize memory usage and rendering time.
- Higher resolutions require more memory and take longer to generate.
Rendering Behavior:
- AI Shots automatically enables CPU rendering to free up GPU memory.
- Do not enable GPU rendering while using AI Shots due to high memory demands.
- Avoid running other GPU-intensive tasks simultaneously, as they may degrade AI Shots performance.
