On July 5, 2023, KeyShot parent company Luxion Group ApS announced an intended offer to purchase Digizuite A/S, a Digital Asset Management (DAM) vendor that helps global companies deliver digital experiences across all channels.

Digizuite A/S is a respected leader in the digital asset management space. Founded in 2000, clients across the globe use Digizuite A/S to reduce costs, increase lifetime customer value and create meaningful experiences with their customers. The company has more than 70 employees between its headquarters in Denmark and subsidiaries in the United States, UK, Belgium, and Ukraine.

A successful acquisition of Digizuite A/S would provide KeyShot customers access to a full suite of digital asset creation and management services, allowing easy storage, sharing, and collaboration of the digital assets KeyShot helps them create. If the intended takeover offer is accepted by 90% of shareholders, Digizuite A/S would be wholly owned by Luxion Group ApS. This will be calculated and potentially finalized by late August.

“KeyShot has always strived to democratize the design process by making it more intuitive, accessible and efficient, and in so doing we have become a trusted provider for designers at organizations large and small around the world. It is important for us to grow our services and support along with our customers’ evolving needs,” said Claus Thorsgaard, CEO of Luxion.

“Now more than ever, designers are juggling dozens of tools, constantly changing technology, and increasing production demands. With the acquisition of Digizuite A/S, we aim to provide designers with a full-service design solution, from ideation to asset management. Ultimately this empowers the designer to focus more of their energy into their creative work. The software should be the least of their concerns, providing reliable, intuitive and comprehensive support; their primary focus should be on bringing their creative visions to life.”

Luxion is the premier software company specializing in advanced 3D visualization and lighting technology. KeyShot, the preferred 3D visualization software for designers, engineers, marketing professionals, photographers and CG specialists, breaks down the complexity of creating photographic images and animations from 3D digital data.

Luxion’s customer list includes over 60 percent of Fortune 500 companies including Google, Chrysler, Coca-Cola, Fossil, Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Victoria’s Secret, HP, Microsoft, Philips, Under Armour, Adidas and many more.
