About the project
NATA is a mobility-focused workflow solution designed to support community-based midwives during home visits. My project addresses two interconnected issues: the underutilisation of existing medical bags and the physical strain caused by transporting bulky equipment, particularly baby scales.
The outcome is a streamlined system combining a suitcase-style bag with a detachable soft storage component. Removing the upper bag reveals an integrated set of infant scales housed within a durable wheeled chassis. By consolidating essential equipment into a single transportable product, NATA reduces the number of bags carried and minimises repeated trips between vehicle and patient homes.
Designed around efficiency, ergonomics and workflow optimization, NATA aims to reduce physical discomfort for midwives while creating a more considered and practical experience for community healthcare visits.
