Rendering Accurate Images using Progressive Denoising

Denoising is a powerful technique for creating smooth images from a noisy Monte Carlo Ray Tracing renderer. Unfortunately, existing denoisers change the images in an unpredictable way that causes bias and inaccuracies that can’t be controlled. We’ll present recent work that ensures that the denoised rendered images converge to the exact solution, and provides a final image that is accurate.
