Rendering Spots
« on: October 22, 2014, 04:02:18 pm »
Hello,

I am new to KeyShot, and rendering in general. I'm getting a pattern of spots, I'm not sure what the right term is to really describe it, in my rendering. It seems like it mostly happens in the darker areas of the image. The render options i used were 8 samples and 11 ray bounces. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

hey joorgo,

Do you have a texture applied to the material you see the spots on? Looks like it may just be patterning caused by a repeated texture.

Same thing here.
The material applied is just a hard shiny white plastic.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
