Importing and keeping scale
« on: August 06, 2014, 05:28:39 am »
I apologise if this is a silly question but I've only just started to get into 3D so am still learning the ropes.

I've made a person in Z Brush which is made up of various subtools, the person, the hair and the clothing. I can export each of these as separate objects which is no problem but when it comes to importing them to KeyShot every object is a different scale and position. Manually scaling and moving them is a nightmare and virtually impossible as just being out by a tiny fraction looks awful.

I can import them as one object but then I can't texture each part separately so if I give the person blue trousers then everything is blue!

Is there a way to import different files/obejcts and keep them the same scale and position? All of the objects were created at the same time and to the same scale.
