I have a lot of clients that spec MoldTech textures, which I was so excited when Keyshot added them. Unfortunately the scale on those is typically very far off.

I don't have a MoldTech book at my house as they cost about $300, but certain textures I have used for so long that I have a feel for them, and the ones in the KS library are not coming in at the correct scale in my models even though I have the scale set correctly in preferences.

Can you send an example of this to [email protected]? We have a book in the office to reference and I find the Mold-Tech textures to map at an accurate scale every time as long as my units are set correctly.

Hey Rex,

No I havent. I purchased a student lisence of KS4 a few months ago. I am right in assuming I am not entitled to the free upgrade on this lisence right?

You should be able to upgrade, if you just purchased a few months ago. Just download the latest from here: www.keyshot.com/try

After installation, just register using your EDU serial code.

Thanks, I didn't realise!

Now to see if the original issue has been resolved...
