Bug: Importing while paused causes crash

Often I will pause a realtime render when I am doing other things on my computer. When I import a new model while paused, Keyshot will crash. I think I can understand why this is happening, but it's still annoying.

I have not been able to reproduce this, so do you have more information?
Are you using the latest version 4.2.35?
Are you on Mac or Windows?

Interestingly, I've noticed that it doesn't seem to crash if you're adding a model to the scene. However, I can confirm that I'm able to reproduce a crash by importing a model into a (paused) scene and selecting "New Geometry".

I'm running Keyshot 4.2.35 on a 12 core Mac with 32GB RAM, running the latest OS.
