animation module is much less reactive under Mavericks
« on: November 05, 2013, 01:43:14 am »
hello,

I see the animation module is much less reactive under Mavericks.
MacOS 10.9

Especially when I move the cursor on the timeline with the mouse, the reaction time of my scene in the window rendering, cursor, etc is much slower than in Mountain Lion.

Have you noticed the same problem?

Thank you.

One suggestion I would make is to disable App Nap, I've found that helps my realtime performance.

You can adjust this by going to your Applications folder, selecting KeyShot4, and select "Get Info" by right-clicking on the application.

thank you for your suggestion :)

I found!! must be booked minimum 1 core for the Mavericks system, if it does not have enough resources to remain fluid.

In the preferences of v.4.2, you can choose the number of cores dedicated to Keyshot.

In any case it's better now.

I'll try disabling App Nap on my Logitech software also ... :)

My M 705 has become unusable since Mavericks.
