Animated Physical Light

Did this test to see if you could animate a physical light.  Yep, but it's really funky, and I'm not sure why.  It's tiny as I did not want to render out a huge file.  30 seconds, or 750 frames, each of which averaged 0.7 seconds on 8 cores.  Diffuse material to speed it up, and my SolidWorks light with barn doors.  The big red thing is a "pivot Point".
So why is it so jerky?  Is it a ray tracing issue, or are there settings that would smooth it out.  Both linear and Ease In/Out about the same.

But animating lights has a lot of potential!

Oh it's funky alright, it's a wonder it didn't trigger my epilepsy...

No Idea why it's doing that Bill, never touched animation in KS, it will be something I get around too at some point I suppose
