Problems importing from Spaceclaim

When we import from SpaceClaim complex models, the name of the model components is lost and replaced by a number. In addition, two or more components that have no relationship SpaceClaim in Keyshoot are linked under a only number, this makes impossible to give different textures to differents components.
 
We could unlink the components, but the importation generates more than 80 numbers and it will be a laborius job. Sometimes a component that in Spaceclaim has not subcomponents is divided in several parts when we unlink it from other components.
 
What is the best format to for import from SpaceClaim to avoid this problem?
