Custom keyboard shortcut mapping
« on: May 01, 2013, 10:22:03 am »
I would love the ability to set functions like "Select Material", "Apply Copy of Material", or "Apply Selected Material" or really any function within KeyShot to a key on the keyboard. Having quick access to commonly used functions would greatly increase my productivity. KeyShot's menus are brilliantly laid out and easy to navigate but having the ability to simply press a key rather than navigate menus every time I need to do a task would be great. A great example of an implementation similar to what I'm asking is SolidWorks. Nearly every single command the program is capable of can be mapped to the keyboard, a context menu or a mouse gesture.

That brings me to my next request: Mouse gestures! In the same vein of being able to map functions to the keyboard, the ability to map commands to a mouse gesture would also be fantastic.

Thanks for all the work you guys do. KeyShot is a phenomenal program and I've enjoyed every moment of using it.
