Is it possible to add a function:

in the parameter of the material:

casts a shadow / casts no shadow
receive shadow / not receive shadow

Also ...

I'm all for a material that is invisible but does receive shadow !  Like a stealth object.  This way we can simulate cast shadow on objects that are in the 2D backplate.

for example:

a scene shop with a window on the facade of the building.
The glass will cast a shadow and shade behind the exhibits behind glass.

If we could settle the matter "glass" ---> cast no shadow, it would be cool :)
