Fabric lamp shade
« on: June 11, 2012, 06:47:20 am »
I' ve seen there is a similar topic here (http://keyshot.com/forum/index.php/topic,1074.msg4153.html#msg4153) but if I try to reply it suggest opening a new one.
How do I reach similar results with newer versions of Keyshot?

Please, what I need is the most detailed and step-by-step description of the process you can give.
Don' t assume anything for given because maybe what' s natural to you is not natural to me.

Thank you,

Marco

I am trying to render using traslucent material and applying a gray map to opacity to give transparency.
You can see the result in the attached image.

I' m not satisfied of the result.

Overmore I can' t understand why lower side of the lamp does not enlight as the upper side.

Can anybody help me?

Thank you.

Marco
