Animation - Roy - Time travel
« on: May 18, 2012, 10:13:07 am »

First attempts at KeyShot animation and video editing.

Also attached renderings of the old beaten watch. I wanted to see if I could do a gritty, well worn version of the watch.

The broken glass looks great. Can you share some insight how you did it?

The broken glass is simply an image of actual shattered glass in the bump texture, but it works remarkably well.

I cobbled together the rust stains and scratches by taking images of rust stains and merging them with the scratch and brushed textures in photoshop.  I then added them to the bump and color textures.

The background was just a picture I threw in photoshop, it was an alpha transparency when I rendered it and it looked kind of plain.
