Another Blender simulation filling a container
« on: May 13, 2019, 05:59:12 am »
This is just another test of using Blender to supplement CAD, when it comes to filling containers. The simulation was exported from blender as an Alembic file, combined in Keyshot with the CAD file, and rendered along with a simple camera animation.

That's really cool! I'm trying to kick myself into action to get some quality time with Blender, because of stuff like this :)

I'll admit that my use of Blender is very limited. I pretty much only use it for the physics simulations, but that alone has been a huge help in filling CAD models with some form of contents.

This looks great! Something I'm going to re-visit myself.
