can I not cast shadows?

I'm sure this has been asked numerous times, but is there a way for me to prevent an object from casting shadows?

You uncheck "Ground shadows" in the environment tab to get rid of shadows on the default ground plane.
Or are you wanting no shadows at all?

Sorry if my question was confusing. Basically I have two objects imported in to my scene. I want one of my objects to not create shadows but for the other object to do so as normal.
