Cloudy Plastic Chair | 2017 Rendering Competition.

Models and textures.
Designed and modelled the chair in Rhino.

Keyshot 7 material.
Rough cloudy plastic.

Lighting and environment. 
In terms of lighting the scene has only 2 pins of light which have been brought in relatively close to the chair.
The environment is a backdrop ramp with rough blue plastic applied. Behind the camera is a white round backdrop which adds an element of realism.

Rendering.
I used my laptop as a room heater for 3 hours. 300 samples at 1920X1080.

Loving the mix of cloudy plastic and the blue background gives a lovely effect!
