Rolex Custom - Carbon Edge
« on: May 23, 2017, 01:15:25 pm »

I wanted to teach myself how to properly use multiple render passes and layers, so I decided to revisit an old Sketchup model of mine for the task. It's a custom redesign of the Rolex Sky-Dweller watch. I hope you guys like it.

Thanks, NM-92. The carbon itself is a texture in the Keyshot material. The rest of the band is modeled.

Wow, it fits perfectly with the geometry. Is it UV mapped or something ?

Nope, no UV mapping, I just used the mapping tool from within Keyshot to get it right.
