.wire and obj
« on: May 04, 2015, 07:42:08 am »
Hopefully this is a simple solution -I am just not able to figure it out. When I import a wire file that contains obj's they do not import in the same position-size. I have tried to do separate files with the obj only but the obj layers still has to be scaled or moved? is their a setting that will accommodate this. It seems that I used to be able to do this...

Use Add To Scene, Location = Keep Original,  and set Same scale as last import from the Import Dialog

Thanks Martin, however I had tried this and the .obj items come into Keyshot at different scale and in some instance different orientation. Perhaps it is something in ALIAS that I need to do. I can move them int the correct position but it seems like uneccessary steps.

Can you share the file so we can take a look?

You can send directly to thomas@luxion.com. Use keyshot.wetransfer.com to get larger files to me.

Thanks,
Thomas
