As mentioned by Bill, too hurtful on my eyes, I also suffer from sexdaily like Edwardo .... oops i mean dyslexia and the whole thing is just Uri Ger Garish  - I respect the uniform look across Blog, Web and forum across all devices, but sadly in this case (the forum) it just doesn't work ... Sorry guys, look forward to the adjustments though :)

I know these redesigns take a lot of work, but sorry I just don't like the result at all. Too clinical and cold for me.

Perfect choice of words!  Certainly not in the Luxion/KeyShot model of friendliness and community.

And now, for me anyway, it's even worse  :-\

Images are missing through the whole forum - what a nightmare...

Just tried to upload an image in Amazing Shots and this is what I get...

An error has occured

Cannot access attachments upload path!'

Any ideas when it will be fixed ?

J

Are other people having issues uploading images ? and is it localized to already existing threads or new ones ?

Thanks again everyone for the feedback. The issues you all are mentioning are being addressed. Apologies about the attachments.  They are back and you should be able to post images now.

Thanks to you Josh.
There is no need to "apologies" ...I think it is normal to have some issues during major change like this :)

I've just tried to attach image to my post....and they seems to works fine...but if I click on them they do not "popup" to real dimension...I've to click on the link for that, download them and after that is ok, the downloaded image is of the right size :)

Not a huge fan of the new style, but live-able. It's way better than the Trivantis/Lectora forum however (that one is a disaster). I do have a few questions though...

How do you search in this new forum?
I wanted to search for other posts so I don't duplicate or repeat something that's already been solved. But there is no search field like on the old forum. I clicked the Q next to the login/logout button, typed in my search, but that searched the entire site and when you clicked the next page of results or clicked on a particular results page it sent me to the website homepage.

How do you get to your profile page/settings?
As far as I've found the only way is scroll down to the list of who's currently viewing the forum and click on my name. Would be nicer if your profile pic at the top was a  link that took you to it, or if there was a link in that area next to it and the unread notifications.

Hi, I just had a look through the whole website - it looks pretty good actually. I really like the new 'Gallery' being like user case studies. The forum has vastly improved (in terms of clarity) by you adding grey background colours to each post! Keep tweakin'   :)

I agree.  Finally had some time to prowl the site, and overall it looks very clean, sharp and contemporary.  It's only the forum that I don't care for, likely because it's really just a long list, kind of like a spreadsheet without borders.  Hard to maneuver through, and really hard on the eyes.

Maybe just tone down the white, go with light and dark grey bands, smaller font, etc.?
