Title: Creating a tile image as a new material

Hi im very new to this and i urgently need to know how to add a tile image as a new material.
Image of the tile is attached.

Add it to the Diffuse or Color slot in a material that Is already applied to the object.

1) Import object
2) Doubleclick object in scene tree
3) Under the TEXTURE tab in the material editor drag and drop the jpeg onto the DIFFUSE or COLOR square at the top
4) Use the mapping tools to move it around and control the mapping
