Title: Vary camera target / different camera targets

Hey,

as mentioned in the heading, I'm trying to first rotate around an assemblies' middle, and afterwords only around one model of the assembly. Unfortunately I can't change the camera target without messing up my rotation of the assembly.

I hope you guys know what I'm trying to do and looking forward for help.

I'm not an expert at camera animations, but it sounds like you need to have 2 cameras with different targets and do a camera switch event. There was a thread a while ago that was asking a similar question, and the user ended up creating one animated camera, duplicating it, and modifying the second camera to keep the smooth transition from one to the other. Then used a camera switch event to switch cameras.

i think you need to switch camera options,
