If you haven’t explored KeyShot Hub yet, make sure to check it out. Launched this year, Hub is the newest addition to the Product Design-to-Market suite, providing comprehensive workflow support for design teams.
Why Hub, and why now? While most design tools focus on artistic output, design teams have lacked the support for the administrative and logistical tasks required throughout the creative process. With Hub, your team gets the holistic workflow support it needs, with secure file-sharing, automatic version tracking and feedback tools that provide clarity, consistency and connection.
Just like KeyShot Studio, Hub users can expect regular performance updates and upgrades. New capabilities launched today include:
Automatic tagging of renderings
Most designers create thousands of renderings each year and struggle to find the renderings they need quickly. KeyShot Hub allows users to manually tag renderings, and now automatic tagging will also be provided. When rendering to the Hub it will automatically attach tags (Model Sets, Camera, Studio, Environment, Image Style, Colorway, and Materials). These tags can then be used to search for renderings. Searches can be saved for later re-use by all members of the team.
Automatic linking of scenes to renderings
If you have a rendering that is out of date and needs to be re-rendered, it can be tricky to figure out what scene it was rendered from. Now, when rendering a scene to the Hub it will automatically attach a link to the scene it was rendered from.
