This behind the scenes from TB&O breaks down the process of how they bring a vintage beauty to life, the 1960 Aston Martin DB4.

“We’re often asked, “How do you do that?” There are a number of tools that we use. The heavy lifting is done by KeyShot from Luxion.”

During the first week of the Detroit Auto Show they decided it would be fun to “restore” a 1960 Aston Martin DB4 to illustrate the process they go through in creating realistic imagery from 3D CAD files. More and more their clients are supplying them with their CAD files, asking them to create photographic imagery, animations and virtual reality experiences for the web.

From import to final rendering, every detail is explored. From the environment to the interior, the results are superb and shows how powerful KeyShot is for creating visuals that are as captivating as their subject.
